[Scandal Sheets] Preview passage and update

Volume 1 Front Small

Just to let you all know I am still working on this little gem though I can’t give a good release time frame.

Here is a little excerpt…

When I began my investigation into the scandalous world of the Demi Monde the last place I expected to visit was the drawing room of the Frothington Estate and the last person I expected to interview was the Marchioness of Frothington.

As it turns out it was my first point of call.

You have probably read of this strange love story elsewhere. I know for a fact the Times ran a whole series of articles supposedly chronicling the whole story.

However nobody has yet had the good manners to ask the new Marchioness herself to give her own account.

Until now…

Her Ladyship was most enthusiastic to contact me when I made my intentions clear through the press. She felt that the world had a right to know her story.

Having completed my interview, and now in the process of writing it up, I wholeheartedly agree. Her Ladyship is, by reputation and I believe in fact, the most virtuous lady ever to pass through that sordid world.

Having said that, as I quickly found, she is far from a poor innocent!

[Transported] Another Update

Mary Read

As the Scandal Sheets are stopping and starting I have put a little time into starting Transported.

I have decided the message of Transported is too important to be negated by Neo Victorians and censorship so mature content shall be kept to a bare minimum.

Obviously you still can play a shameless Harlot but only if the Guv (Games Master) agrees that the group is mature enough for you to do so.

Details will doubtless be popping up intermitently over the next few months.

[Scandal Sheets] Meet Miss Sally Sill

Sally Sill Woodcut

Meet Miss Sally Sill, the daring young missionary to the Demi Monde of London, specifically 69 Frothington Road. Her papers, recovered from the private collection of notorious “Moral Crusader” Cecilia LeMonte, naturally focus their detail on her fascinating subjects.

However as she is drawn deeper into the murky world she seeks to save these “poor lost women” from she finds herself changing as a person.

How?

Well you’ll have to wait for the books!

Spotlight- The Scandal Sheets of Miss Sally Sill

It gets saucier that this!

Despite causing a real sensation in her day Miss Sally Sill is somewhat forgotten in the eyes of history.

The Prudish Victorian “moralists” did all they could to suppress the frank, uncensored interviews conducted by this pure and noble Christian girl with many of the most notorious Courtesans of her age talking of themselves and their dear departed “Sisters.”

Ironically it is thanks to the hypocrisy of one: a Lady Cecilia LeMonte that our Directing Editor Mr Warner has uncovered the complete set. It seems Lady LeMonte was all too happy to read these stories however “filthy and unholy” she proclaimed them to be. To hide the shame of possessing such material she buried them in an undisclosed location that Mr Warner was able to uncover almost 200 years later.

The interviews are in the process of restoration. With sketches by artists Franz VonStuker and Chloe Havelock reimagined by Warner’s regular artist Raven Morrison illustrating the covers this novella sized series shall be the first priority of the company.

Be sure to collect all of The Scandal Sheets of Miss Sally Sill!

Scandal Sheets- Miss Sill’s Introduction

Hattie Swan (nee Harker) the first of the ladies profiled by Miss Sill

So many authorities both civil and religious have tried to stop the publication of these interviews or at least moderate their frankness. I maintain dedicated to free speech regardless of the uncomfortable truths and shocking revelations these Interviews put forth. I believe it is my Christian duty to reveal this underworld in all its ugliness and no threat of civil or criminal proceedings will dissuade me.

In Faith
