[WBH] Morality- The League of Extrodinary Outcasts

LEO Logo

Whether they are victims of society or mental illness there are many Superladies who just cannot play fair. Through giant corporations, underground smuggling rings or even with nothing but their powers and their stupid costume Villainesses strike terror into Civilian and Superlady alike.

Just as with heroes the foremost of these is the very first. Texi Tarquin was the first to don a costume to fight Kittiwake Girl, the unwanted subject of a delusional love-hate infatuation and fascination of the notoriously predatory madam.

Once the truce of the Second World War was over she formed a counterpart to her rival’s SPO in the League of Extraordinary Outcasts.

The League is even more loosely structured than it’s heroic counterpart and it’s actions are, for the most part chaotic and unplanned. Texi’s position however remains unquestioned. Despite being little more than a human with a stack of awesome gadgets she keeps her stilettos firmly on the faces of her closest rivals. Even the notoriously devious Feathers McGee and the insanity of the Black Toon are kept in check by Texi’s mere glance in their direction.

LEO Superteams are very well supplied whether through legitimate means like TexiInc or criminal empires like the Feathers mob. They can field the best in equipment and weapons though often relying on the under-classes for minion support bites them in their pert arses!

[WBH] Morality- The Society to Preserve Order (SPO)

SPO Logo

Kittiwake Girl’s Personal “in crowd” of goody two-shoes heroines the Society to Preserve Order was founded after World War II to attempt to organise and regulate these spandex wearing vigilantes and war heroines into something more manageable and controllable.

It’s somewhat natural for an Archasian to come off as a bit of a control freak no matter how well intentioned she may be however Kittiwake Girl is pretty hands off when it comes to leadership.

She has one rule: No Killing. As mentioned before this rule is non-negotiable and is the source of the SPO’s split with the IHL.

SPO Superteams have quite a considerable Weakness in not being able to use lethal force however they make up with it with a resolve that having the backing of the Best (Magnificent Magda, The Widow, Kittiwake Girl and many more) can bring.

[Comics] The Ages

I maybe starting from scratch but I have a long term plan for stories from Kittiwake Girl’s arrival in 1935 to the present day.

Thus the stories are divided into ages depending on when it is set.

Origin Age

This covers the pre war years where Kittiwake Girl establishes the Superlady archetype and the big girls start their stories.

The Age of War

This covers the brief war between the Nazis (and their allies) and the Superlady special forces of the British Empire.

Cheese Age

This was a rather fun but embarrassing era when everything was brightly coloured, kid friendly and full of stupid one-liners.

Grit Age

Shocked by the Widow Scandal the Superlady community got a Hell of a lot darker and all sorts of nasty shit started happening in what would become known as The Grit Age.

Modren Age

These stories will be set in the near past and present covering the slightly more serious than the Cheese Age but not as fucked up as the Grit Age modern times.

[Comics] Plans

#1 Cover

I had a bit of time so I thought I’d give you lovely fans an update on where I am going with my comics.

Due to both budget restraints and my aim to keep stories concise each of 3 “big girls” of my comic book world will have a 3 issue origin story…

These are…

Kittiwake Girl: The Beginning: An alien child of incredible power is raised by a humble English Village before hitting the perilous big city as the world’s first Superlady.

Magnificent Magda: Genesis: An exhibit of a Nevada Freakshow finds out that she is in fact a half angel and is taught by a mysterious mentor how to balance the hidden world with the real one.

The Widow’s Vengeance: Widowed at the very moment she hears “I do” Kitty McAvoy sets off on a terrible vengeance spree that even the emerging community of Superheroines seem powerless to stop.

If these are a success I plan to go on to the War years with a crossover series entitled Peace in our Time as well as telling the story of the rise of the villainous Major Britannia.
Stay tuned for updates on Kittiwake Girl: The Beginning #1 and the Tabletop Wargame Whore’s Blade Heroics.

[WBH] Morality: The Idealistic Heroines’ League (IHL)

IHL Logo

The Idealistic Heroine’s League is the result of a Post War hissyfit of epic proportions from Kittiwake Girl. More than any other Superlday Kittiwake girl has been dedicated to non lethal force. The “KG rule,” as it has become known as, is essentially “heroines do not kill.”

The somewhat jaded and more practical Gray Areas called Kittiwake Girl out on this bullshit and promptly got kicked out of the SPO. Ever since she has been a figurehead for all those Heroines who, for whatever reason, don’t like playing by the rules even when they are relatively lax.

Known as antiheroines the IHL are feared by both of the other Morality Factions. The idea of taking no prisoners seems scary to everyday Superladies whatever end of the fully automatic firearm you’re on!

IHL Superteams are typically somewhat chaotic and bristling with semi legal Weapons. Much like their colourful leaders!

[Comics] Calling Artists

Kittiwake Comics Logo

I am looking for any artists out there who fancy some work in the upcoming Kittiwake Comics.

Particularly I’m looking to commission the art for Bomber Bird and Magnificent Magda.

Bomber Bird tells the story of the slightly insane daughter of an Irish Royal Engineer dedicated to fighting crime with explosives.

Magnificent Magda tells the story of a Circus freak who finds out she is a genuine half angel and begins her adventures in the world of magic and mystery with the aid of an unusual guardian.

Style wise I think the Bomber Bird comics would work best in a simplistic style emphasising the fun and mayhem (think Paul Dini’s Harley and Ivy) whilst Magnificent Magda is more deserving of a more realistic look.

The job will involve a full colour cover and 30 pages of black and white comic. I can’t pay as much as a bigshot but you can be assured I will try my best to.

Contact me by the usual means.

[WBH/ Comics] Incredicity

Clipart Critters Inocent Girl

IncrediCity is the setting of both the Whore’s Blade Heroics Wargame and Kittiwake’s Comics.

Another alternate reality of the History Farce World the Kittiwake Comics World has had an explosion of Superheroines and Supervillainesses appear in it ever since the first battle between the Alien Kittiwake Girl and the Corporate Genius Texi Tarquin.

As the home of these two pioneers was IncrediCity (a high tech redevelopment of Birmingham in the English Midlands) these “Superladies” as they became known flocked to join in the fun in the various districts.

This gives British Commonwealth unmatchable military supremacy only tempered by the tough moral stance of its most famous Alien immigrant.

Since the catastrophic defeat of Hitler by an unlikely truce between Kittiwake Girl and her arch nemesis nobody dares challenge Britain militarily though they have contributed their own Superladies, good, evil and somewhere in between to the struggle for control of IncrediCity.

Increasingly this is the only war that matters.

IncrediCity’s full history shall be covered in the first Chapter of Whore’s Blade Heroics and shall be developed naturally in the stories of Kittiwake Comics.
